Futuristic, otherwise know as Zachary Lewis Beck is the Illinois-born and Arizona-based rapper. He's just released an album entitled Zachary Lewis, that features 11 strong hip-hop tunes. The 4th track 'Weekend' stood out. It's a song with a lot of space, with a beyond catchy vocal melody, where Zach sings "Girl you get me weak when I spend my week with you". Accompanying are feel-good acoustic guitar strums that are rhythmically rooted with the bass drum and the occasional, nourishing female backing vocal. 'Weekend' evokes the feeling of fresh love, as Zachary tells the story of his week with a lover and the longing to see them again. -Ellie Rose Davies
